ESIVA is a product of Nordic Labs Tech Oy. This Privacy Policy explains the privacy principles for the esiva.app website and the intended ESIVA application.

ESIVA is currently in development. Before public App Store release, this policy will be reviewed against the final production implementation, including the exact data categories, storage locations and service providers used by released features.

1. Plain-English Summary

• ESIVA is designed to use health and fitness information to provide fitness and general wellness features — not advertising.
• We do not intend to sell Health data or use it for advertising.
• Apple Health permissions remain under your control.
• App Store billing is handled by Apple when an Apple subscription is used.
• We will disclose any external processing required by released ESIVA features before public release.

2. Information ESIVA May Access

2.1 Health and Fitness Information

With your permission, ESIVA may access selected information available through Apple Health and connected Apple devices when required to provide the features you use.

This may include categories such as:

• workouts and activity;
• movement and active-energy information;
• heart-rate-related information;
• sleep and recovery-related information;
• other health or fitness categories that are clearly requested and relevant to an ESIVA feature.

ESIVA uses this context to provide functions such as adaptive training, recovery guidance, daily planning and progress information.

2.2 Nutrition and User-Entered Information

Features may allow you to enter or record information such as meals, nutrition, weight, hunger, energy, training feedback or other optional inputs.

ESIVA uses these inputs to provide the feature requested and, where applicable, improve personalization of future guidance.

2.3 Subscription Status

If ESIVA offers an App Store subscription, the App may use Apple's StoreKit mechanisms to determine whether relevant paid functionality is available to you.

2.4 Support Communications

If you email us, we receive the information you choose to provide, including your email address and the contents of your message.

3. How Information Is Used

Information available to ESIVA may be used to:

• build and update your daily fitness and wellness plan;
• provide adaptive workout recommendations;
• provide workout execution guidance;
• provide nutrition and meal-timing guidance;
• show training and muscle-load progress;
• provide recovery-related guidance;
• evaluate how previous recommendations relate to subsequent outcomes;
• operate, secure and troubleshoot the service;
• respond to support requests.

4. ARC Engine and Personalization

ARC Engine is designed to connect available signals, recommendations and subsequent outcomes so that ESIVA can adapt future guidance.

Depending on the feature, personalization may use passive device data, user-entered information or optional feedback.

Missing optional feedback is not automatically treated as evidence that a recommendation succeeded or failed.

5. Processing and Storage

ESIVA uses Apple-device and application storage where appropriate. The exact production data-flow for every public feature will be documented in this Privacy Policy before release.

In particular, we will not represent a feature as entirely on-device if that feature requires external processing.

If a released ESIVA feature uses a service provider to process information, this policy will identify the relevant category of processing and explain what information is involved.

6. Health Data and Advertising

ESIVA is intended to use Health-related information for fitness and general wellness functionality.

We do not intend to sell Health data or use Health data for third-party advertising, advertising profiling or cross-service ad tracking.

7. Website Data

The current esiva.app website does not provide user accounts or an online health-data dashboard.

Technical infrastructure used to deliver the website may process ordinary request information such as IP address, browser information, timestamps and security logs as necessary to provide and protect the site.

If analytics, cookies, forms or additional website services are introduced, this notice will be updated as appropriate.

8. Apple Health Permissions

Apple Health access requires your permission. You can control or revoke access through Apple-provided settings.

If access to a required category is disabled, ESIVA may be unable to provide features that depend on that information.

9. Subscriptions and Payments

When an ESIVA subscription is purchased through Apple's App Store, Apple handles payment processing.

Nordic Labs Tech Oy does not receive your full payment-card details from Apple. ESIVA may receive or verify the limited entitlement information required to determine access to subscription functionality.

10. Sharing and Service Providers

We do not intend to sell personal Health information.

Information may be processed by service providers where required to operate a released function, provide infrastructure, process support communications or comply with law.

Before public release, this section will be updated to match the final provider architecture used by ESIVA.

11. Legal Requirements

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, valid legal process or to protect the rights, safety and security of users, Nordic Labs Tech Oy or others.

12. Data Retention

Retention depends on the type of information and where the relevant ESIVA feature stores or processes it.

The final release policy will describe applicable retention practices for server-side processing, if any, and other information controlled by Nordic Labs Tech Oy.

13. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on the data and applicable law, you may be able to:

• control or revoke Apple Health permissions;
• stop providing optional inputs;
• stop using or uninstall ESIVA;
• exercise applicable privacy rights relating to personal information controlled by Nordic Labs Tech Oy.

14. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect ESIVA and information processed in connection with the service.

No system or method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

15. International Processing

Where a service provider processes information outside your country, applicable data-protection requirements and safeguards will be considered as part of the production service configuration.

Email providers may also process support communications in different countries according to their infrastructure.

16. Children's Privacy

ESIVA is not intended to be used in circumstances where applicable law requires parental authorization that has not been obtained.

The final age requirements for the public application will be stated before release and reflected in App Store information.

17. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as ESIVA develops, as processing changes or as legal requirements evolve.

The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
